De Glind is known as the ‘Youth Village’. Since the beginning of the 20th century, children removed from their home have found shelter here. And still, almost half of all residents of De Glind are young people. You can see that in and around the village. From a petting zoo to ‘pirate island’ and a swimming pool. There is plenty to do for children. But the older visitor certainly shouldn’t skip De Glind either. There are several beautiful walking routes – including Klompenpaden – and the village is also part of the recreational cycling network.
